Der kleine aber feine Unterschied: Die neuen strategischen Prioritäten 2009 im Programm für Lebenslanges Lernen

Am 8. Oktober 2008 hat die Europäische Kommission die strategischen Priori täten 2009 veröffentlicht: Während der überwiegende Teil unverändert bleibt, gibt es einige interessante Anpassungen vor allem in den Bereichen Validierung, Mobilität und Nutzbarkeit der Ergebnisse.

Deutschland: 60 Millionen Euro für neues Förderprogramm Lernen vor Ort

Das Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF) hat im Oktober ein umfangreiches Förderprogramm „Lernen vor Ort" aufgelegt. Hier werden rund 60 Millionen Euro für den Ausbau des Bildungsmanageme nts in Städten und Regionen bereitgestellt. Eine konzeptionelle Neuerung ist dabei die Zusammenarbeit mit Stiftungen. Das Programm ist Teil der Qualifizierungsiniti ative der Bundesregierung.

Recognising the value of the over-45s and getting them back into work is becoming increasingly important all over Europe. Training alone is not enough; it must be integrated with other policies and tailored to meet the needs of the worker, and the real demands of the job market. The Italian project PARI - Action Programme for the Re-employment of Disadvantaged Workers - may represent a good practice to be reproduced in other countries.
