Traineeship at EAEA


EAEA Brussels secretariat

As a trainee or volunteer at the EAEA office in Brussels you will have a possibility to visit European institutions, to attend European conferences and meetings and to establish contacts with other European associations. Photo: European Union 2013, European Commission, DG EMPL

Tasks

  • Assisting in the day-today-work by communicating with EAEA's members and stakeholders
  • Collecting good practice examples from different fields, relating them to the European Commission's work groups on the future concrete objectives of education and training
  • Preparing events
  • Assisting in projects the EAEA is involved in
  • Assisting with communication tasks, such as writing articles and reports for the EAEA website

Requirements

  • Fluent English, a reasonable French is an asset
  • Good computer skills
  • Interest in adult learning
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work creatively in a multicultural team
  • Minimum stay: 3 months (please indicate the preferred starting date in the cover letter)

EAEA Helsinki communications unit

As a trainee or volunteer in the EAEA Communications unit, you will learn communications related tasks and get to know the Finnish adult education community. Photo: Foxcroft Academy

Tasks

  • Producing communication materials for EAEA according to the applicant's interests (journalistic writing, visual materials such as brochures and fact sheets)
  • Contributing to EAEA's social media channels
  • Helping with project dissemination tasks
  • Maintaining the EAEA website

Requirements

  • Fluent English
  • Good communication skills
  • Desire to learn
  • Interest in adult learning
  • Ability to work independently
  • Adaptivity: ability to work in a foreign culture
  • Excellent computer skills (mastering Adobe Photoshop and InDesign programs is an asset)
  • Minimum stay: 3 months (please indicate the preferred starting date in the cover letter)
