The Mid-Term Review of the Sixth International Conference on Adult Learning and Education (CONFINTEA-VI) will take place in Suwon/Osan, Republic of Korea.
The Mid-Term Review will bring together senior-level decision makers from policy and practice, including representatives of government, civil society, academia, and the private sector. Organised around the theme Living and Learning for a Viable Future: Vision 2030, it will look at the achievements in adult education and learning since the last CONFINTEA VI Conference in 2009 and the adoption of the Belém Framework for Action. It will also discuss how new global policy agreements and frameworks can help strengthen the impact of ALE. Such agreements include the UNESCO Recommendation on Adult Learning and Education, the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the 2030 Education Framework for Action.
