In many European countries the national authorities are questioning the purpose of adult education. The wider effects of adult learning for the society seem to have been forgotten. At the same time, having global and European level discussions and guidelines are becoming increasingly important for national policies and realities.
Dr. Katarina Popovic and Per Paludan Hansen, the leaders of international adult education organisations International Council of Adult Education (ICAE) and EAEA will guide us to see the bigger picture.
The event is co-organised by EAEA member The Finnish Lifelong Learning Foundation (KVS). It takes place in Eurooppasali, Malminkatu 16, 00100 Helsinki. Register at Sitra website. The event is webstreamed.
