Several Member States, including Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria and Belgium, may face serious teacher shortages in the future, according to a new report published by the European Commission.

The final conference of the EUROlocal project was held on 26-28 October 2011 and was opened in the city of Murten, Switzerland, by the mayor of the city, Christian Brechbühl. The event included a series of presentations and workshop events for some 50+ participants from 15 countries in Europe.
