The main aim of the project is to share the results of the European Language Label Award winning "YELL Network" (www.yell-project.eu) and raise awareness of its main product the Virtual Documentation Centre which hosts an array of resources designed to improve language learning and encourage creative teaching to inspire language learning.
The Young European Love Languages 2 (YELL2) project is a Key Activity 2 Languages Accompanying Measure Project supported by the Lifelong Learning Programme. The YELL2 team consists of three partners from Germany, UK and Turkey. In order to do this the project needs you! Being a part of the YELL network offers immediate and long-term benefits to language teachers and institutions as well as to the learners.
Sign up to the YELL Network and receive regular updates and information about innovations in the teaching and learning of languages, you can also start to access the wealth of resources hosted in the Virtual Document Centre.
The YELL2 also offers educators like you the opportunity to share examples of your own Best Practice with the wider community. To do this simply complete our online questionnaire and have your work included in the Virtual Documention Centre.
Each month a Best Practice example will be selected and featured in the YELL2 e-bulletin, reaching a wide European audience.
Three of the Best Practice authors, the 'Best of the Best', will be invited as guests to the YELL2 Conference Sharing to Inspire Language Learning across Europe to present their work.
A major outcome of the project is the 3-day international conference hosted in Birmingham, UK from the 2nd - 5th of October 2013. The conference will bring together Educators, Trainers and Policy Makers to influence the future of language education. In addition to a variety of eminent speakers, the conference will feature examples of Best Practice from the project and a European project fail.
There is the possibility to receive funding from your National Agency through the end of July 2013. The funding includes all travel, subsistence and conference costs.
If you are a teacher of adult education and want to take advantage of the funding opportunities to attend this exceptional event, then please contact the YELL2 at info(at)yell2-project.eu for immediate attention and guidance.
