EAEA Country reports published

"Adult Education in Europe 2017 - A Civil Society View" publication combines information from different European countries to demonstrate the state of adult education in Europe.

Annually, EAEA launches a survey for its members to create specific country reports for various European countries. The reports outline developments in adult education in different European countries over the past year, giving insight into the state of adult education across Europe and allowing comparisons between countries. The country report 2017 gathers information from 26 countries.

The country specific information on adult education policy offers opportunities to influence the European Semester, the cycle of yearly economic and structural policy coordination from the European Commission. Learn more from our infonote on the European Semester.

The publications are available as an electronic version (PDF) and as a hard copy at EAEA Secretariat in Brussels.

With the publication you can:

  • Inform your colleagues across Europe – but also policy makers at different levels – on what you think about the main developments in adult education in your country;
  • Compare your situation with other organisations in Europe;
  • Propose ideas and good practices to colleagues and policy-makers across Europe;
  • Additionally, in a few years a more long-term comparison of developments will be possible.
