EAEA has published a set of country reports that demonstrate the state of adult education in different European countries. The reports are based on information shared by our members.
The members were asked to share their knowledge about the recent developments and future focus of the adult education policy in their countries. They also evaluated the impact of the PIAAC results on the adult education discourse in their country and offered an outlook on the future needs for the adult education sector.
The country specific information on adult education policy offers an advocacy tool for EAEA members. They can be used to inform colleagues and policy makers about the developments in adult education in your country and also compare the situations in different parts of Europe. They also offer the possibility to propose ideas and good practices to colleagues and policy makers across Europe.
The country reports also give the opportunity to compare the data with the European Commission’s country specific reports and thus influence the European Semester the cycle of yearly economic and structural policy coordination of the European Commission.
