EAEA gets a new Communications Officer

As of 1 June 2016, Helka Repo takes over the tasks of EAEA Communications Officer as Aura Vuorenrinne will leave EAEA for another job. Helka is already familiar with EAEA – she worked as a maternity leave replacement of the EAEA Communications Officer back in 2013 and 2014.

Helka has strong expertise in communication work in the field of adult education. She currently works as a Publications Manager at The Finnish Lifelong Learning Foundation – KVS, EAEA's member organisation that hosts the EAEA Communication Unit in Helsinki.

Helka has previously worked as a Communications Assistant at the Finnish Workers' Educational Association (TSL) and Kehys – The Finnish NGDO Platform to the EU. Additionally she has worked in the Finnish embassy in Peru. Helka's academic background is in sociology and journalism.
