The “Consortium for Adult Education in the Alto Palancia” is a public organization of seven city councils’ that develop formal and non-formal adult education programmes.
Its main target is providing an adult education service to the rural area in coordination with the Conselleria of Educació of Valencian Community.
In project we collaborate with other institutions: Ministerio of Educación from Spanish Government, University Jaume I of Castellón and University of Valencia.
The Consortium, which works with people aged from 17 to 95, organises different activities such as:
- courses, activities and projects in order to motivate adult people to lifelong learning in rural areas with the collaboration of different agencies and institutions.
- online courses, conferences and meetings
- programmes for people that are looking for a job, especially from 17 to 30, where they get support on building their life projects by getting a degree, learning languages or improving their habilities in ICT
- activities for elder people, aged over 60, who want to boost their quality of life and personal development
