Mission statement

UEM offers complex professional development for education managers – professional educators, primarily those from personnel reserve appointed by the Department of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Department of Education and Science of the Republic of Crimea, regional (Kiev and Sevastopol’ regions) and local departments of education, educational institutions; professional development for education managers and faculty of all levels (advanced learning and training, re-training, internship, etc.); opportunity for detailed research and guidance aimed at defining and implementing public policy for post-graduate education studies, professional development of the above-mentioned categories of educators. UEM fosters the advancement of andragogical, acmeological learning theories and education innovations. UEM is the National Learning, Research and Guidance Center for Post-Graduate Education Studies.

Main activities

  1. Post-graduate studies, re-training, advanced learning and training, internship for education managers, faculty and research staff, including training for education managers personnel reserve;
  2. Innovative professional education according to the issued licenses, state order and contract commitments;
  3. Research on education management issues, post-graduate learning, education economy, other education issues;
  4. Research and guidance support for education managers, post-graduate education, etc.;
  5. Peer review of research and guidance materials on education management and adult education;
  6. Additional education and counseling opportunities;
  7. Certification of research staff and faculty;
  8. Advancing modern education techniques and innovations regarding adult education;
  9. Professional expertise of education innovations;
  10. Coordination of research and guidance of post-graduate education institutions;
  11. Cooperation with international research centers and educational institutions , information exchange, exchange of staff, international project management, etc.;
  12. Cultural and educative activities;
  13. Financial and economic activities;
  14. Publishing;
  15. Reforming post-graduate education learning process according to modern requirements and accomplishments of science and technology, as well as of leading world universities.
