LiMe – Languages in Media language action which approached the idea of language learning and teaching of a foreign language for migrants by developing an interactive multimedia platform for teachers and language learners. The activities have been funded in support from the European Commission (Project N° 530866-LLP-1-2012-DE-KA2-KA2MP) and the consortium consists of six organisations from five European countries (DE, ES, IT, PL and the UK). The Consortium is celebrating its achievements with a conference intended for all those involved in the teaching of second languages (teachers, teachers trainers, stakeholders responsible for language policies, non-governmental organisations and students) and with special interest in the application of media and ICT to help the European-wide migrant population develop language and cultural competences.
This free of charge event will join scholars and stakeholders from the six partner institutions from Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain and UK. The event will take place on the 17th of March in Cáceres, Spain.
We invite you to contribute a poster presentation until February 23rd covering the following general topics: L2 and culture teaching, ICT supported language and culture learning for migrants, migrants integration through effective linguistic policies, language and culture to prevent social exclusion, as well as innovative application of media for language and culture teaching in all sectors.
