Through the gallery walk, conference participants had the opportunity to get inspired by the collection of good practice selected and the methodologies guidelines developed by the consortium. Thanks to this enriching exchange with the project partners, adult education practitioners and professionals got acquainted with strategies of outreach, empowerment and diversity within their learning centres and institutions.
One of the main aims of the conference was to discuss the OED policy recommendations set up during the consultation process and drafted jointly by the consortium. The knowledge café was the place where participants contribute to the OED recommendations and underlined the most important messages to be handed over.
These contributions were then shared in the panel discussion, where European and national policy-makers as well as key stakeholders have been invited to discuss how the recommendation could be implemented in the future policy agenda. The OED network hopes that the conference will encourage more activity on behalf of policy makers in the targeted areas.
Networking was encouraged during the whole conference, but the moment dedicated to that has been the good practice exhibition and welcome reception organised on the evening of the 16th of June.
