European Qualifications Framework

On 13 July 2005 , the European Commission published a proposal for a European Qualifications Framework. This proposal was to be subject to consultation over a six month period.

This process is handled differently in the 25 member states.

The topic was also discussed at the EAEA seminar on Valuing learning in November 2005 in Lillehammer, Norway. One of the keynotes were delivered by Mr Arne Carlsen, of the Danish Pedagogical University. He gave an interview to EAEA on the changing learning landscapes in Europe. The video is in QuickTime format below. Below you will also find responses by EAEA members on the EQF proposal.
