2011 European Year of Volunteering logo contest

The official logo contest for the year has begun.

This competition is open to everyone that feels inspired by volunteering and would like to contribute to the celebration of the volunteering effort that will happen in 2011 by putting into words (slogan) or into an image (logo) the values volunteering represents in Europe and be the visual image of the Year across the EU.

"Let's Slogo!" is organised by the European of Volunteering 2011 Alliance and runs through www.eyv2011.eu (this website is currently being translated and the different language versions will be uploaded to the website on a regular basis). All of you interested in the competition and those who would like to submit a proposal, please make sure you read carefully the competition terms and conditions.

The period for submission of proposals starts on August 17and closes on September 18;

The proposals may be uploaded in a special section of the website: "Submit your logo and slogan" - this section will be alive as from August 17 and will be deactivated once the submission period is closed down.

The finalists of the competition will be invited to travel to Brussels to the award ceremony.
