The launching of the present call for proposals is part of the SOCRATES action "Observation of education systems, policies and innovation" and provides financial support to a series of activities aimed to improve and facilitate the exchange of information and experience in education among the countries participating in this community programme (projects should actively involve establishments from at least five countries taking part in Socrates and at least from one Member State).

The activities covered by this call for proposals are designed to fuel and support a debate at the policy level in the area of education on the priority themes defined each year in close co-operation with the Member States (represented within the Education Committee of the Council). WWW
