Continuing Learning Opportunities for Adults with Intellectual Disabilities as a step towards Non-discrimination

The conference will identify objectives and needs of adult education. Different models of adult education will be presented at the conference, enabling you to learn from positive experiences and best practices in this field. The conference will pay special attention to the needs and situation of people with intellectual disabilities in Central and Eastern European countries where this group of people is often excluded from primary school education. In such circumstances, adult learning is vital and instrumental to compensate for the lacking primary education.
