Join the Spring Alliance High-level Conference "People and Planet First: EU Leadership for a Green and Social Strategy for Post-2010" Brussels, September 28 with EC President Barroso.
To remind you: just before the summer break the Spring Alliance Manifesto has been unanimously endorsed by the initiators of our campaign: EEB, ETUC, Social Platform and Concord. If you haven´t signed up your support for the manifesto, we invite you to do so as soon as possible using our online form, because we need YOUR help in further promoting and realizing our demands for a more sustainable European Union.
We would also like to invite you to attend our Conference and reception which is to take place on Monday 28 September at the European Economic Social Committee in Brussels. Here civil society will meet key EU decision makers of the moment to exchange their views on a sustainable European future and explore how the Spring Alliance proposals can be translated into action.
Speakers will include José Manuel Barroso, President of the European Commission and Maud Olofsson, Deputy Prime Minister of Sweden and Minister for Enterprise and Energy.
