The Working Group on Education is formed by: The International Council for Adult Education (ICAE), the World
Education Forum (FME), the Latin American Campaign for the Right to Education (CLADE), the Latin American Council of Adult Education (CEAAL), the Journey on Environmental Education for Sustainable Societies and Global Responsibility, the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO, Brazil), the International of Education, the Popular Education Network of Women from Latin America and the Caribbean (REPEM).

National Stakeholders' Forum

A survey and a feasibility study on National Stakeholders' Forum has just been published by EUCIS-LLL. The last research work of the Platform has been focused on National Stakeholders´ Forums, designed to foster concrete cooperation and consultation mechanisms at the national level on lifelong learning strategies in member states and on European cooperation in education and training.

European Anti-Poverty Network calls for EU Social Investment Pact

Brussels, 11 June 2012 - The 23^rd General Assembly of the European Anto-Poverty Network (EAPN) delivered a strong message to EU Institutions and National Governments to say that ‘Austerity´ is not working and that it is driving people further into poverty and making the ‘poor´ pay the price for the crisis they did not create. Delegates recognised some recent positive change in rhetoric in terms of a more social response to the crisis but it was clear that a change in words will not be enough but needs to be backed up by an EU Social Investment Pact.

The Adult Learners' Festival Week 2012 was a massive event with four hundred and fifteen events taking place throughout Ireland.
