The European Commission rewards Västra Nylands folkhögskola for its active international cooperation
With the aim of promoting quality in mobility and international cooperation in adult education, The European Commission has selected from around 200 educational projects funded over the past years 10 mobility projects which stand out for their quality.
These 10 examples of best practice have been published in the European Success Stories, a brochure available in all EU official languages. Two of the international projects in which Västra Nylands folkhögskola has been lead partner have been selected among the five best at European level. These are TEACh - Teaching European Active Citizenship, and UNEC - Uniting Europe through Cultures. Moreover, the Commission has awarded Grundtvig European Lifelong Learning Awards to three best mobility projects in adult education in Europe. UNEC - Uniting Europe through Cultures was honoured with a Bronze Grundtvig Lifelong Learning Award.
