Commission consultation paper on the future EU2020 strategy

The European Commission has published a consultation paper on the future EU2020 strategy, the follow-up to the Lisbon process.

The Commission would like to hear your views on some suggested broad policy considerations for the future EU2020 strategy, which are contained in the consultation document. We encourage you to participate in this consultation and send your contributions by 15th January 2010 at the latest.

On 25 November 2009 the Commission published its Communication Draft 2010 joint progress report together with the accompanying

Staff Working Document "Analysis of the implementation at EU and national levels", and the
2009 Report "Progress towards the Lisbon objectives in education and training - indicators and benchmarks".

On the Europa website you will find the supporting Staff Working Document which contains an analysis regarding the implementation of the work programme 2010 at EU level; the thematic cross-country analysis and factual country sheets giving a short overview on progress made at national level
