Lower threshold of participating countries, earlier admissibility checks and a proper follow-up are the key achievements in the new regulation on the European Citizens´ Initiative (ECI), approved by the European Parliament last Thursday in Strasbourg.

The EAEA and NVL Conference on implementation of National Qualifications Frameworks has published the conference proceedings online.

Consultation on the promotion and validation of non-formal and informal learning

The European Commission is collecting feedback on the best ways to validate non-formal and informal learning.

Finding the key to qualification

Some 125 people from all over Brussels met in Brussels in November to discuss how to best understand and implement national frameworks for qualification.

Online consultation on the next generation of the Europe for Citizens Programme

The consultation is published on the Interactive Policy Making website and will be open for 10 weeks until January 5, 2011. All interested parties - individual citizens, civil society organisations, public authorities and administrations, research institutions, European and international organisations and others - are invited to participate in this consultation.
