The Art of City Making is a key urban conference for 2004 for everyone involved in the task of making creating and cohesive cities.
BIRMINGHAM plays host to a major European conference this October when leading urban policy thinkers along with those responsible for planning, managing and running Europe's major cities get together.
The conference will encourage participation with workshops and visits so that delegates can see for themselves examples of how a major UK city is dealing with key issues such as city centre living; creating new jobs in new sectors; engaging local communities and learning opportunities for adults and young people.
fee: £300 for UK participants £200 for outside UK and non-governmental organisations
