DAEA is an organisation which promotes non-formal adult education through collaboration, information and development. DAEA represents 33 member organisations.
Non-formal adult education enhances general and vocational knowledge and skills of each individual. It improves the ability and motivation to assume self-administration and responsibility and it also provides people with the necessary competences that enable each individual to take active part in society.
Non-formal adult education is based on community, equality, participatory democracy, responsibility and voluntary activity. Non-formal adult education offers time, space and the needed conditions in order to strengthen the qualifications of adults in an informal learning environment.
DAEA is financed by: Member fees, government grants and 'Dansk tipstjeneste' (pool betting).
Role in the project: DAEA will participate in meetings, report on progress from activities, collect good practice examples and analyze them to identify common trends, consultation and testing process at national level, respond to evaluation and monitoring, communicate the results to our member organizations and comply with the rules of financial reports.
