The work of EAEA is developed and controlled by an elected board, appointed by the General Assembly of EAEA.

The Executive Board is elected biannually. The board work is chaired by a president, elected by the General Assembly, also in two year terms. According to the constitution a member can sit in the board or be elected president no more than three consecutive terms.
