History

While participating in the Community Connections exchange program in 1998, Svitlana Zakrevska had many meetings with American educational organizations and centres. As a result, she decided to form an association in Ukraine which would solve similar problems. Alliance was registered as a nongovernmental association in August of 1998 in Donetsk, Ukraine. Since 2000 hundreds of members from Eastern and Southern Ukraine have joined us.
