History

Activity of the University began from December, 27 of
1952. It was founded as the Center of postgraduate
education (ЦІПККПНО). From the first day of foundation
and till nowadays in the University a prominent
pedagogical collective works: academicians,
professors, associate professors and senior teachers.
From 1962 to 1992 the Center acquired a status of
educational, scientifically and methodical center of
the in-service teacher training . In 1992 the Center
was changed and became the Ukrainian Institute of
the in- service leading shots of education training
(УІПКККО). The Postgraduate School was opened on
the base of the Institute. In 1997 the Institute
changed the name and became the State academy
of leading shots of education (ДАККО). The Central
Institute of postgraduate pedagogical education
(ЦІППО) of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of
Ukraine was created on the base of the Academy in
1997. The University of educational management is
created in 2007 which is formed the Central
Institute of postgraduate pedagogical education and
Donetsk Institute of postgraduate pedagogical
education.

Main act

 Completely foreseen in-service training of
educational managing staff and their reserves,
other specialists of education for work with new
maintenance and pedagogical technologies in the
conditions of social transformations
and modernization of the educational systems;
 Retraining of individuals with higher professional
education to new actual specialities:
management, pedagogics, psychology etc.;
 Innovative activity with the purpose of
development, approbation, examination of new educational
technologies and models of management and promotion
of their inculcation into activity of postgraduate institutions;
 Researching activity with the purpose of creation
the scientific basis of pedagogical innovations,
organization of educational process and pre-service
training of scientific pedagogical staff;
 Saving and providing of general state policy
in the sphere of postgraduate pedagogical staff,
improving of professional pedagogical skills.
