History

Adult Education Centre was established in 2008, by the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, as a public institution.

Main act

Adult Education Centre:

Harmonizes and integrates the public interests and the interests of the social partners in the education of adults in the Republic of Macedonia. The Center also coordinates the cooperation with the international institutions and organizations in the area of education of adults and the lifelong learning.

Provides quality system for education of adults in accordance with the European standards and practices, through standards and criteria that will provide quality education for adults, both formal and non-formal, production of quality and competitive labor force on the labor market by supporting the social partnership.

Mission statement

Research, development, analysis and strategic planning of the adult education system at a national level;
Development of adult education programs;
Training of trainers and teachers, personal development and professional orientation;
Developemant of standards, procedures and criteria;
Evaluation of adult education programs;
Coordination and monitoring of adult education providers.
