History

Adult Education Initiative Group consisting of adult educators was created with the support of dvv international in 2006. The members of the initiative group have attended a number of regional and international events and educational projects during 3 years. The initiative group was officially registered as Adult Education Association on September 2008.

Main act

Training of Trainers, management courses, Curriculum trainings for teachers, researches in the field of adult and vocational education, publication of training manuals for adults and other events.

List of current projects:

1. The Adult Training Centers as an Opportunity for Poverty Reduction, Education and Social Inclusion COPE (Cooperation through Partnership for Education) funded by the European Commission and implemented by Adult Education Association as a partner.
2. Curriculum trainings for teachers funded by World Bank and Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan Republic.
3. ToT Courses for the Staff of Azerbaijan Teachers'Institute funded by dvv international.
