Following an open invitation to tender, the European Commission selected the Pôle universitaire européen de Lorraine to carry out this study.
The aim of the study was to give an overall picture of current national actions which link culture (the visual arts, music, the performing arts, books and reading, cultural heritage) more closely with formal, non-formal and informal education, vocational training and young people. This 12-month study covers the 25 European Union Member States, the EEA signatory states as well as Bulgaria and Romania .
