EAEA will organise a conference on the theme of "Equal Opportunities for All" on 3 and 4 December in Riga, Latvia.

In parallel workshops representatives of adult education organisations, education and training organisations and practitioners will have the opportunity to exchange experience and good practice, establish new and refresh old contacts, develop cooperation ideas and present interesting projects.

Themes of the workshops under the comprehensive title of ‘Equal Opportunities for All´ will be (first proposal)
- Gender
- Migrants
- Disabled persons
- Age groups
- Access to information, guidance and counselling
- ….

EAEA members have the opportunity to discuss the future of adult learning and the impact of EAEA on adult education in Europe, on the implementation of the Commission´s Action Plan and other issues, in a member meeting. The Executive Board of EAEA will be ready to answer all questions relating to EAEA interests.

We invite EAEA members to make suggestions for themes, for papers and speakers, with a constructive but critical approach towards European developments; and for the concrete organisation of the conference - would you like an ‘Open Space´, a Panel Discussion, moderated workshop with contributions from participants… we wish to make it your conference and we are welcoming all your suggestions.
