Adult Learners' Week 2009 takes place from Saturday 9th May to Friday 15th May 2009, marking its eighteenth year. It is a wonderful celebration of the energy and inspiration that adults bring to their learning, and is highlighted by the Adult Learners' Week Awards which reward the outstanding learning achievements of individuals, groups, families and projects.
The examples in the 'Example of events' section are to help you think about what ideas and events would work best for you and are by no means exhaustive. If you would like further help with your planning remember that one of the best ways is to work together with others in your region.
