Civil society actors, local, national and European public authorities met in Lisbon on 15 and 16 October 2010 for a conference of the European Movement International (EMI), discussing the theme "Combating poverty and social exclusion during the economic crisis and beyond: A multi-level governance approach".
The traditional providers of adult education and learning in Europe
are stepping back - the contemporary European scene is overwhelmed by a
new type of providers, evading the scientific examination and making
us think about providers in a completely new way, using new criteria
and descriptors. They include, for example, networks, projects and the
Internet.
