2nd Grundtvig Award in Adult Education

The EAEA invites applications for the 2nd Grundtvig Award contest with the theme: Basic Skills/ Key Competences ( i.e. key competencies for living and participating in society).
These key competencies are the "traditional" skills of literacy and numeracy, and include the new ICT skills; communication in the mother tongue and in a foreign language. Equally important are interpersonal and civic competences, basic competences in science and technology, learning to learn, etc.

The very successful launch of the first Grundtvig Award and the interest among organisations working in Adult Education and other fields in 2003, has encouraged the EAEA to announce the second award
