EAEA is working with several other organisations and associations on various levels.

EUCIS-LLL

The European Civil Society Platform on Lifelong Learning (EUCIS-LLL) gathers 24 European networks working in education and training. Together, these organisations cover all sectors of education and training including networks for higher education, vocational education and training, adult education and popular education; networks for students, school heads, parents, HRD professionals, teachers and trainers. Through its members, EUCIS-LLL embodies lifelong learning. EAEA is a member of EUCIS-LLL.

Social Platform

The Platform of European Social NGOs (Social Platform) is the alliance of representative European federations and networks of non-governmental organisations active in the social sector.

The Social Platform and its members are committed to the advancement of the principles of equality, solidarity, non discrimination and the promotion and respect of fundamental rights for all within Europe and in particular the European Union.
The Social Platform promotes social justice and participatory democracy by voicing the concerns of its member organisations. EAEA is a member of Social Platform.

Concord

CONCORD is the European NGO confederation for Relief and Development. Its 26 national associations, 18 international networks and 1 associate member represent 1,800 NGOs which are supported by millions of citizens across Europe. EAEA is a member of Concord.

NVL

Nordic network for adult learning (NVL) is a project initiated and financed by the Nordic Council of Ministers and administrated by the Norwegian organisation Vox (Vox, nasjonalt fagorgan for kompetansepolitikk).

NVL

  • supports Nordic co-operation
  • transmits experiences and innovations
  • highlights Nordic expertise
  • creates new co-operation models

European Forum of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (EfVET)

EfVET is a unique European-wide professional association which has been created by and for providers of technical and vocational education and training (TVET) in all European countries.

Mission:

  • Promote quality and innovation in Technical and Vocational Education and Training throughout Europe.
  • Develop collaboration, mutual co-operation and sharing of good practice.
  • Give colleges a platform of influence in European TVET policy.
  • Provide a transnational framework to support all co-operative actions aimed at enhancing and improving technical and vocational education and training.

Culture Action Europe

Culture Action Europe is an advocacy and lobby organisation promoting arts and culture as a building block of the European project. Our aim is to influence European policies for more and better access to culture across the continent and beyond. We provide customized information and analysis on the European Union, offer cultural actors a space to exchange and elaborate common positions, and develop advocacy actions towards European policymakers.

EUCEN

EUCEN shall

  1. contribute to the economic and cultural life of Europe through the promotion and advancement of lifelong learning within higher education institutions in Europe and elsewhere;

SOLIDAR

SOLIDAR is a European network of NGOs working to advance social justice in Europe and worldwide. With 56 member organisations based in 25 countries (20 of which are EU countries), member organisations are national NGOs in Europe, as well as as some non-EU and EU-wide organisations, working in one or more of our fields of activity.

How we work

SOLIDAR voices the concerns of its member organisations to the EU and international insitutions by carrying out active lobbying, project management and coordination, policy monitoring and awareness-raising across its different policy areas.

The EU Civil Society Contact Group

The EU Civil Society Contact Group brings together eight large rights and value based NGO sectors - culture, environment, education, development, human rights, public health, social and women.
Jointly we aim to represent the views and interests of rights and value based civil society organisations across the European Union on major issues, which affect us across our sectors of activity. Our objective is to encourage and promote a transparent and structured civil dialogue that is accessible, properly facilitated, inclusive, fair and respectful of the autonomy of NGOs.
