The European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA aisbl) is looking for a Project Assistant in the main office in Brussels. Update March 7: The offer is closed.

Main tasks:

• Assist the project manager in the administration and management of a large project on consumer education
• Help coordinate activities in 27 countries
• Help in reports writing
• Participate in meetings and conferences
• Liaise with partners and stakeholders

Required skills and profile:

• Organisational and managerial skills (ability to plan workloads and timetables, monitor progress, achieve targets, meet deadlines, prioritise activities, attention to detail, persistence and flexibility)
• Ability to multi task
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in a multicultural context (ability to communicate effectively by e-mail)
• Fluency (both oral and written) in English, other languages are an asset
• Excellent IT and computer skills
• Interest in lifelong learning and adult education

Other desirable skills:

• Experience in a European / International work context related to project administration, preferably in the NGO sector
