Education is the key to success for the individual and for society. EAEA is a non-profit NGO promoting adult education in Europe with 115 member organizations in 38 countries. Our network covers 5 000 organizations involving more than 50 million adult learners annually. The organization has operated since 1953. Today EAEA also works worldwide through our connections with the international adult learning community.
We have 4 offices in Europe ; in Belgium , Finland , Hungary and Spain
The adult education community in Europe is connected to civil society, educational development and lifelong learning through thematic coverage of over 60 topics .
The main roles of EAEA are:
- Policy advocacy for lifelong learning at a European level
- Improvement of performance through projects, publications and training
- Provision of information and services for our members
- International co-operation
How can you support EAEA?
- By making a contribution to costs for printing folders, leaflets, brochures and other EAEA publications
- By helping us finance travel expenses for staff
- By sponsoring our seminars and conferences
What can we offer?
- We will advertise your organization as a supporter of life long learning, and/or civil society. This fits in well with CSR initiatives, and the corporate citizen concept.
- We can also offer space for you:
- in our publications such as our printed newsletter to all members, 2-4 per year
- in invitations, posters and conference material such as at our GA which has a reach of approx 60-100 visitors from 25-34 different countries
- in selected areas of our web site, now an average of 600 visitors (unique IP addresses) per day (Oct-06)
- Supporting initiatives of a more long term range can be achieved through entering a strategic partnership with EAEA.
